We’re very excited that Chelsea Heights Kindergarten will be partnering with Extend from 2027 to provide After Care and a Vacation Care.
This partnership is exciting for our kinder community and has been shaped by feedback from our families. It will allow us to offer families greater flexibility while ensuring children continue to experience a familiar, welcoming and play-based environment at Chelsea Heights Kindergarten.
EXTENDED CARE & VACATION CARE WITH EXTEND
Extend is Australia’s largest family-owned and operated Outside School Hours Care provider, with more than 24 years of experience supporting children and families across Australia.
We’re proud to partner with Chelsea Heights Kindergarten, bringing our experience in quality child care to the kindergarten community with After Care and Vacation Care.
Our programs provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where kinder children can build confidence, develop independence, form friendships and enjoy meaningful opportunities to learn, laugh, play and explore. Our professionally trained, experienced and First Aid qualified Educators ensure every child feels safe, supported and cared for throughout their time with us.

HOW DO I ENROL AND BOOK MY CHILD WITH EXTEND
If your child currently attends Extended Care at Chelsea Heights Kindergarten, their enrolment details will not automatically transfer to Extend.
To attend Extended Care with Extend, you must enrol with us before making a booking. Please follow the steps below:

1. Visit extendedcare.lookedafter.com/. This will take you to our booking platform, Extended Care ''LookedAfter.''
2. On the right hand side of the screen, you’ll find the option to create your account. Fill out your details and click the blue “Enrol” button.
3. Check your inbox for a verification email to activate your account (check junk folder if not found).
4. Once logged in, you can enrol your children. It will ask you for details about your child, contact information, billing information and signing the agreement.
SERVICE INFORMATION
From 2027, Extend will provide:

Extended Care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, following kindergarten sessions until 6:00pm

Access to the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) for eligible families, helping make care more affordable

A holiday program three days per week during the Term 1, 2 and 3 school holidays

Children attending a kindergarten session on these days will transition directly to Extend at the end of their kindergarten session, whether their session finishes at 1:30pm, 1:40pm or 2:00pm. Families do not need to collect or transfer their child at 1:30pm.

Children who do not attend kindergarten on these days can still attend Extend from 1:30pm-6pm subject to availability.
